Hello,

Is it possible to link an external database to alfresco?

This is because I have another database where personal data is stored, and I am trying to make a custom form for when people upload content they can search for a name in the external database and when they click the name, some personal info will be automatically filled in the form. Then when the form is saved the personal info is also saved in alfresco.

I hope you understand what I am trying to do.

I am also very interested in this issue. Does anybody has an answer?

If this is currently not an included functionnality in Alfresco, is it possible to add it by myself? where should I start considering it in the code?
