Extending association.ftl

I tried extending association.ftl by placing it in

tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/form/controls/‍

and adding some things.
When I restarted the alfresco no changes were visible. But if I edit the original file everything works fine.

I also tried to copy picker control to extension folder cause the association imports it and it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Is that a typo…..should be tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/web-extension/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/form/controls/

Actually no. I found out that you can have site-webscripts in tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco directory and it still works.
