Expanding/collapsing subprocesses

Hi all,

I'm trying to find out if/how it's possible to expand/collapse subprocesses in Activiti Designer.

When I create a subprocess, I just don't see any button to collapse it. I've also tried to apply the patch from ACT-987, but it didn't enable any context menu item for me. Though maybe I made some mistake applying the patch, I've never compiled Eclipse plugins myself before.

I'm using Eclipse 3.7.2 with the latest Activiti Designer compiled from source (r3268). Before I tried it with Eclipse 3.7.1 and latest Activiti Designer from the official Eclipse update site, but it didn't work either.

Any ideas? Thanks for your time 🙂

If it is not there, it might just not be possible yet 😉 (But I think for one level this is coming in de 5.9 Designer (which is later than the engine)

We are working very hard on an improved version of the Designer (version 5.9) and I hope we'll be able to include this as well.

thanks a lot for your quick feedback, I'm willing to wait for this of course! Unfortunately I've got no experience on the technologies used to develop Activiti Designer, so I cannot contribute anything  :cry:

I wonder if there are any workarounds or what people are doing currently when developing processes with subprocesses? Just leave everything expanded? Or use a different software than Activiti Designer?

That's what I guessed 🙂 So we will wait for the new Designer to stabilize and continue then.
