no that's not related to beta versions…
Community Edition has some limitations, for example:
- Oracle is not supported
- clustering is not supported, so it is not reccommended for high loads and critical projects
- you don't have support from Alfresco
- enterprise edition is more stable
Obviously you can continue using Community Edition as you wish, taking into account the above mentioned limitations.
