When I attempted to import a space that I had exported I got the following error:
"09:56:00,131 ERROR [repo.action.ActionServiceImpl] An error was encountered whilst executing the action 'import'. org.alfresco.service.cmr.view.ImporterException: Failed to import package at line 669; column 50 due to error: Association name {http://www.alfresco.org/model/rule/1.0}action is not valid; cannot find in Repository dictionary"
I thought that all necessary imformation to import it had been exported and that patches would be automatically run to accomodate the importing.
I assume you upgraded to 1.4? If that is the case, then the acp file you have is only 1.3-compatible. The rules model changed between the two versions, and there is not much that can be automatically done to externally-help acp files during the upgrade.
