Yes I get this too…

It may be related to the use of Java 1.8.
I found a reference to a similar problem (in another context) http://silabsoft.org/forum/discussion/12/referenceerror-importpackage-is-not-defined-in-at-line-numb...

I went back to Java 1.7 and I do not get the error and the chart is shown correctly.

Any quick fixes ?

Could you elaborate on your problem: what are you trying to do? What is failing?

Ok, I have tested with JDK 1.7:
Using CATALINA_BASE:   /home/eduardo/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_HOME:   /home/eduardo/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /home/eduardo/tomcat7/temp
Using JRE_HOME:        /home/eduardo/jdk1.7.0_67
Using CLASSPATH:       /home/eduardo/tomcat7/bin/bootstrap.jar:/home/eduardo/tomcat7/bin/tomcat-juli.jar

and with JDK 1.8:
Using CATALINA_BASE:   /home/eduardo/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_HOME:   /home/eduardo/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /home/eduardo/tomcat7/temp
Using JRE_HOME:        /home/eduardo/jdk1.8.0_05
Using CLASSPATH:       /home/eduardo/tomcat7/bin/bootstrap.jar:/home/eduardo/tomcat7/bin/tomcat-juli.jar

I'am getting the same error.

Regards,
e.
