Thank's for your answer, but it shouldn't be the problem, it`s the first time I install Alfresco in that machine.
But this port (8100), what it is managing?
My webclient is running in 8082 port
Thanks

That error means that you haven't started OpenOffice to enable document conversions.

Alfresco will still work fine, you just don't have that feature.  The wiki describes how to start OpenOffice.

Thanks, I checked those settings and everything seems to be ok. But the errors are still during the server start up.
Does anybody knows where the setting to the port 8100 is configured?
Anyone knows in openoffice is compatible with windows server 2003?
Any ideas to check?

Thanks tones

Hello,

Port 8100 is set by OpenOffice, it is the port that Alfresco connects to OpenOffice with.

OpenOffice is compatable with Windows Server 2003, so you should have no problems installing it.

You can run Alfresco without OpenOffice installed (and therefore ignore these  warnings) but you would loose some functionality from Alfresco.

Many thanks Steve,

It's right Steve, we have already Alfresco running in our computer but as you coment, we can not transform doc content to pdf, one of our mainly issues for document management.

Do you now if it's posible to change de port it's using? Where can I check if that port is being used by other application. Thanks!
