error disabling quick share

When I try to disable quick share system-wide with system.quickshare.enabled=false in alfreso-global.properties I get an error in catalina.out and documents cannot be previewed anymore.

Can someone help me?

I was not able to exactly get your question. However, when quickShare is disabled then the QuickShare-specific REST APIs will return 403 Forbidden.
You may want to take a look at this JIRA issue and see if it is relevant to you - https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALF-16233

Put it in share-config-custom.xml and check. This file should be placed at tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/web-extension location.

Can someone please help me?
I want to remove the social media icons from share (Facebook, Twitter and Google+).
It should only be possible to share with email.

Put following entry in tomcat\shared\classes\alfresco\web-extension\share-config-custom.xml file. This entry will allow user to share document with email only.

Also make sure that, share-config-custom.xml file is NOT there in tomcat\webapps\share\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\web-extension path.
