Email while creating or updating user

Hello Alfresco Users,

Can anyone tell me how can I configure Alfresco to send email notification while creating/updating a user.

I have configured all details required for SMTP server/username/password.

For Ex:

If i create user A and specifying email as a@a.com……..
I want to notify user A (sened email to a@a.com) that persons profile has been created/modified.

Does it require change in any Java/Jsp files?

Though it provides Email text box while creating users, Alfresco does not send any notifications.

Also how to implement Email notification while importing Users/Groups from LDAP?
