Hello everybody,
I'm kind of new to Alfresco, and therefore do not understand everything.
I am currently working on the content rules for sites, and wish to get the system send a email to site readers everytime a document or discussion topic is added to the site ; I have managed so far. The trouble I get is when I try to apply a template (notify_user_email.ftl), no email gets sent. It seems to work whenever I type in plain text or link a .txt template, but the whole thing just won't work with a .ftl template. No error message is given.

Am I doing something wrong ? Is it a known issue ?

Thanks,
S. W.

Hello,
I still haven't found a way to insert a template in a mailing rule without getting it to stop working.
Is there any way of passing variables in an email (name of the document, name of the person who added it, direct link to the document) without using an template ?

Thanks,
S.W.

Hello again,
Was solved this morning.
Apparently a problem with the JavaScript object ${url.serverPath} that cannot be used in Alfresco 3.2 and causes the system to fail. Replacing manually that part by the direct url to the server works.
