Email alerts for simple workflow

Hi
In 3.2CE Share, is it possible to email the assignee when a workflow is assigned? I didnt see a way to do this within Share and i am not sure whether the Explorer interface has to be used for this purpose. The outbound SMTP configuration has been setup in alfresco-global.properties file.
Any pointers to documentation will be of great help.

Hi,
are you talking about "simple workflow" as in folderbased workflows, assigned by rules ? Then you can extend the rule to include a mail action.

If you mean a simple "adhoc" workflow, then you will have to edit the workflow programming (processdefinition.xml). For doing this inside the explorer, see the Jeff POtts developerseries (link in my signature)
