Hey guys.
We think that it might be a good idea to include Eclipse installation in the demo setup (maybe configurable). This could download an Eclipse and (this is the important part for me) do two things:
1. configure the default workspace to the workspace created in the distro folders
2. install the current designer plugin
What do you guys think?
Cheers
Bernd

Ah, and other stuff would be nice for convenience:
- BPMN 2.0 Schemas
- Activiti sources existent
- m2eclipse preinstalled

Hi Bernd,
I'm of course positive towards this.
I really think it should be configurable if you want to install the Eclipse Designer, because it will have to download quite some megabytes.
And I agree it would be nice to have things like BPMN 2.0 schemas, Activiti sources, m2eclipse automatically available.
Best regards,
Tijs

@ Bernd: such a script would be good, but i don't think it's worth the effort. Although I see regularly failure reports with ant based downloads. For me the update site is good. I don't think it's going to improve the experience a lot if we have an ant script that downloads eclipse like we had before in jbpm.
@ Tijs: Is it possible to automatically add the bpmn, our config schema and later our bpmn extension schema to the xml catalog ?
Ideally with installation of the plugin, but I thought it is also (or only?) possible with a perspective.
Tijs, do you have any idea? on how we could automate adding xsd's to the xml catalog?

@ Tom: For the Designer plugin it should be no problem to add the schemas. We can always add it to the XML editor and maybe also to the XML catalog.
Automate adding the xsd's to the XML catalog without the Designer plugin is more difficult. That's not possible I think.
Best regards,
Tijs
