In the past we had the problem that new Alfresco users checked in all there documents without checking which documents may have already been checked in by others. This lead to lots of duplicates in the repository. Therefore we created a module named Duplicate Document Finder which:
1. Checks the repository for duplicates 2. Updates a documents duplicates count when the document is created/uploaded/changed.
In the Alfresco Web Client a small icon appears in the list of document actions to indicate that the document has duplicates. The duplicates can be browsed by clicking the icon.
