Working on integrating Drupal and Alfresco using CMIS API module, but just ran into a problem. I downloaded the latest release of the Community Edition, 5.0.b and found that the Drupal CMIS module no longer works. Looking at my logs, I found: HTTP call to [http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/alfresco/service/cmis] returned [404]. It seems that 5.0.b removed the Alfresco Explorer, and isn't the /alfresco the url to Explorer? I'm not even sure why they removed Explorer, as it was very handy to setup the structure of the repository. But in removing Explorer, did Alfresco also removed CMIS compatibility?
