Downloading and opening a Visio 2010 file Stored in Alfresco while inside of Another Visio 2010 file

I have a Visio File "A". When I'm inside of that file I would like to have a user double-click a shape and then download and open Visio File "B" which is currently stored in Alfresco.
How to do this? I'm a new Alfresco customer.

Its been a while since I've used visio but what options are available.   The first things I'd try are opening file B via CIFS, WebDav or SPP.

Or can you embed the URL of an object in visio?
