Does Alfresco in the cloud (beta) integrate with MS Office?

I like the idea of Alfresco in the cloud (currently in Beta): it saves the hassle from running a server yourself and it's a much better option than dropbox, Google Docs, etc. for purposes where check-in / check-out and version control are essential.

But does Alfresco in the cloud (beta) also integrate with MS Office (Sharepoint protocol, or Alfresco add-in) and other clients like OpenOffice (i.e. Oracle connector)?

And if yes, how should I configure it?

I tried with Oracle connector in OpenOffice, but I had no success. I tried it with https://my.alfresco.com/share/mydomain.com/ and https://my.alfresco.com/share/mydomain.com/page/site/mysite
What URL should I use?

Hello,

unfortunately, I do not have the most recent Cloud Beta schedule primer PDF at hand, but AFAIK SharePoint will at some time be supported for the Cloud, but isn't yet. I'd have to check the primer wether the SharePoint protocol may be available for free accounts or if it will require a paid upgrade account. I'd be surprised if the links you attempted ever work with either SharePoint or the Oracle connector as they are links to the Cloud UI - I'd expect technical links similar to the standalone Alfresco product, i.e. https://my.alfresco.com:7070/alfresco/mysite or similar for SharePoint.

Regards
Axel
