Does Alfresco comes with mysql bundled ?

Does Alfresco comes with mysql  bundled ?

my friend  says he has installed  alfresco-community-tomcat-3.3g.tar.gz in his  ubuntu machine and got a mysql/bin  folder  in the alfresco installation directory. He claims that mysql  comes  with  this version.

I am confused here.  Does Alfresco really comes with mysql ?

If so , is that a mysql client or mysql  server ?

Can you please help at this part ?

It came with mysql server before, but from version 4.0.a it ships with postgresql instead.

aah . thanks . I  have alfresco-community-tomcat-3.3g.tar.gz…ok ..so mysql  built-in stuff
