'Document' viewer/reader

Hello,

I have created custom model. Added it to alfresco. Even created a document based on that model through java script.

And I stuck with document view. Standart alfresco document "viewers/readers" cannot display content of my document. So I was wandering how to create custom "viewer" for my model? any ideas where should i start would be great!

Thank you Jeff for your answer.
At the moment i am reading your book "Alfresco Developer Guide" in chapter 6 i found the way how to show custom content, but did not found the way how to tell alfresco that my model should be opened with my custom "viewer".

Any tip of how to tell that this model should be opened with this "viewer" would be welcome!
