Document version in Alfresco 3.4.5

Hello,

I have updated my Alfresco installation from 3.3.2 to 3.4.5 and I found a problem when mark a document as versionable.

In the previous  version (3.3.2) when I upload a file the version was 1.0, it's right because the first version should be a major version.  This behavior has changed in the version 3.4.5, now the first version is 0.1, it's like a minor version.

Any idea if it's a bug?

Regards,

Juan

Don't think so.
First time when you allow versioning that present copy will be considered as version 1.0
later on when you change it its up to you to give new version as 1.1 or or 2.
I think you are missing something.

I do not think I forgot something, that is very simple. I upload a document, I put the property versionable and its version is 0.1 instead of 1.0.

In previous versions of Alfresco, the document version is 1.0

I believe it's a bug.  Basically, initial uploads via the Share interface used to always start at version 1.0.  Now, if the space has a rule that sets "versionable', the version starts at 0.1; if there is no rule, the version starts at 1.0.  A pretty nasty inconsistency IMHO.

I've filed a JIRA for it, ALF-12705.
