I have installed the Alfresco Labs version 3, I can see the names of the documents from my space Alfresco joomla but I can only see a preview, black box
I think I might have figured this one out (at least for me anyway!). The problem seems to be with swftools. I've just compiled & installed the latest version (0.9.0) from http://www.swftools.org and the previews are now working fine. Something to do with the earlier versions not creating SWF files that are compatible with the alfresco interface. It was a bit fiddly to sort out but I'm probably doing it again tomorrow on my test machine so I'll try and document it this time…
ardesign: any pointers on what exactly you did, would be highly appreciated. I'm running joomla & alfresco on an Intranet Windows 2003 server. I executed swftools-0.9.0.exe on this server, but can't see any differences..
Hello I'm having the same problem. I made the changes on default_preview_flash.php the preview works only for txt files but not completely. I have a first preview box but this one is completely white, and the preview box containing the real preview of my file is cut and totaly at the bottom left of my page. Does somebody fix a problem like this one and help me?
I've encountered the same situation. Installed the joomla plugin for alfresco. Everything more or less works - bar the preview when looking through documents.
All I see is a black box where the document preview ought to be.
Previous searches and solutions offered by the people here have led to changing the black box into a smaller white file icon…
Can the techs working on this either tell us how to fix this or tell us how to turn the preview off altogether.
