Document description in a mail template

Hi,
I'm trying send by email the document description property. If i use document.properties["description"] in a Presentation Template works ok but not in email templates. any idea?

Shouldnt you be using document.properties["cm:description"]?

It doesn't works. I'll try with document.properties.description too, but nothing happens.

could you describe how you're sending the email (which page you browse, which button you click etc …)?

I'm sending the message when i upload a document into a folder (the email predefined action when you defined a rule with the rules assistant). I only change the email template

It is this:

A new document '${document.properties.description}', is available in the '${space.name}' space, it was added by '${person.properties.firstName}<#if person.properties.lastName?exists> ${person.properties.lastName}</#if>'.

how is the email looking that u get?

alfresco does not send any mail, it fails because don´t find this property.

do u get emails with the standard template?

if so please show the error log (guess its in catalina.out)
