Discussion as a dashlet?

Hello

I have installed Community 4.0d - all working.

Is there any way to have discussion as dashlet on a site dashboard? I couldn't see any way of doing this!

I tried by using the RSS fees but RSS feed cannot be displayed ( i presume this is because of no authentication)

Ps. searched google like mad but current see anything current!

Hi Dorego,

In the default Alfresco installation there is no dashlet that show the site discussions. It is however very easy to create a custom dashlet that accomplishes what you want. See http://ecmarchitect.com/archives/2012/05/08/1592 for a tutorial on creating dashlets. You can reuse the repository web scripts behind the discussions page and maybe even parts of the code.
