Disabling content conversions on a folder/document

Hi,

Is anyone aware of any way to disable content conversions / indexing for specific nodes or preferably a folder and all nodes within it?

Hi Gary, Yes, you can control specific content/node indexing by this aspect - cm:indexControl.

And yes, which version you are using, I think its available from 4.0! You may confirm that.

We are currently using 4.0.d.

As well as stopping the indexing is it possible to prevent thumbnails and previews being generated?

Yes, In newer version several options are available for content transformation and also for thumbnail. You can disable repository level as well for specific mimetype. You can also limit it by content size
