Disable Create Site for users

Hello,

I am using CentOS 6.7 - 64 bits with Alfresco 5.0.d and i would like to know how to disable the create site link from users ? I want only administrators to be able to create sites.
I found this addon https://github.com/jpotts/share-site-space-templates/tree/5.0.d , but since i am a new on alfresco i am not aware how to install it.
I will appreciate you if someone explain me step by step how to install the mentioned addon or any other option.

This will help you to hide Create site menu from non-admin users.

Thank for your reply and solution!

I would like to inform you that you solution can hide the header menu bar link: Create Site but, the link on the My Sites dashboard dashlets (widget) is still there.
Please find attached a screenshot.

Again….These customization's will be lost if the war files are exploded again.

To the OP,

I will Private Message you with the amp files that you need since you are not a developer. Going forward though I would recommend you do a lot of reading and also setup a sandbox alfresco install to start testing your own customization's.
