Different between aspect's property and parent's type's

Hi,
Could you please show me the the difference between aspect's property and parent type's property.
For instance I can either define a from property in the task model type or I can define an aspect named fromAspect with from property and apply to the node. What is the difference?

From a workflow perspective, there's no difference.  The task ultimately supports the property (whether defined on a type or aspect).

The difference is that an aspect may be shared amongst many types (or, in the case of workflows, many tasks), so the same property can be shared.
