Hi,
Is there anything fundamentally different between the Sites space and other spaces created by Alfresco/normal users? I understand that the Sites space should be used by Alfresco Share. Is there any harm if I directly modify contents from that space without going through Share (e.g. through Alfresco client)?
Thanks
Patrick

That depends what you want to modify. From what I see, share only has access to site document library (that is companyhome/Sites/sitename/documentLibrary in /alfresco) and user home by default. And when I change things from /alfresco (ie. add a space to docLib, copy/move/delete files around or something), it reflects in share and the other way around.
What specific changes you're trying to do?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. The changes I will be doing are create/edit/delete files, and perhaps some other actions like check out, so most actions regarding content management. I am guessing this is ok?

Patrick
