When we restarted our alfresco server this morning to turn on incoming mail functionality, we got a context initialization error on startup. Even after removing the new configuration directives in alfresco-global.properties, we are still getting the following error:

I still see references to the data dictionary when I poke around the database, but I'm not sure how to recover from this error. We'd like to avoid having to reinstall, because we just finished loading 40 GBs of documents into the system and don't want to have to go through the process of re-uploading all of them.
Any thoughts as to what has happened?
