Hello,
I would like to contribute the support for Associations and Artifacts, namely Groups, Date Objects and Annotations to the Activity Designer. Currently, we already implemented Support for non-directional associations and text annotations. As this alone already needs additions to various files (import, export, gui, etc.) and a whole lot of new classes, i'm unsure if a single patch is sufficient here. The support for data objects and groups would make this even more complex.
How shall we handle this properly? Shall I create a JIRA for 'Support of Associations and Artifacts' and once I'm finished supply a single patch including all, or do you think a branch for this support is a better way?
Thank you,
Heiko

Heiko,
you should get in touch with Tijs Rademakers at Alfresco to make sure you can contribute to Designer. I'd suggest you send him a PM through the forums or tweet him. Contact info is here: http://activiti.org/team.html
