can i delete the file and folder in /opt/alfresco/tomcat/temp/* .

# du -sh /opt/alfresco/tomcat/temp/
101G    /opt/alfresco/tomcat/temp/

env:

os : centos 6.5 64bit
alfresco : alfresco 5.0b

Yes you can stop alfresco then the delete the content of tomcat/temp/*. In addition, you can also delete the content of tomcat/work/* to clear the tomcat cache. And then start alfresco.
