hi,
i have installed the alfresco manually using alfresco.war and share.war but there is a problem of default login pasword 'admin' . i think its not secure . And i need to change the default login password . i know it can change after login as admin . But i like know from where this default password coming from. is it stored in database, provided which is that table. can any please help me

Hello,
there is a property in the alfresco-global.properties file which contains the hash for the initial admin password. That property is "alfresco_user_store.adminpassword" and is only evaluated the first time the repository starts up.
