I'm new on this forum and on Alfresco development.
In the last days i developed a simple Java Web Script for Alfresco 3.4 with Spring configuration and iBatis framework.
After many tries and corrections, I can't get the WS to work on Alfresco.
I've commented various code portions and I founded what is wrong: the spring configuration on module-context.xml off course.
However, i wasn't able to find the solution.
I use Alfresco Community Edition 3.4 on Tomcat server (Alfresco bundle).
JAR directories tree (on WEB-INF/lib):
MANIFEST-MF:
… and the last but not least: module-context.xml
I tried also:
In this case, the exception is the following:
A, B and WSNAME is a simple mask for the real name wich I used.

At this moment, I'm traying to depoly a simple web script whitout call to any database.
I would like make a webscript, in Java EE, for integrate some business logic into Alfresco: the upload of some protocolled files, theirs registration on a external oracle database, and so. All security aspect isn't now important.
Now, i just trying to deploy a web script with Spring configuration and ready to use for iBatis.
I've one interaction.xml for iBatis wich containes all queries to DB, external, not Alfresco DB.
I can't use Web Services because my commiteer wouldn't it.

I found myself in the same point today, and i find out how to solve it, al least for version 4.0.d community. So, this is how i solve it.
First i installed the special dialect for oracle by installing the oracle amp that community provide for my alfresco version (http://forge.alfresco.com/gf/project/oracle/frs/).
Inside my own AMP configuration, I wrote in the context beans file this:
As you can note, i change hibernate.dialect property, this is because it's looking for new database dialect. In case you wonder, this can be seen it in this path: [whare is your alfresco installatin]\tomcat\webapps\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\ibatis
