Default Date set to Current Date?

Hi,

No this isn't possible by setting some sort of template default value that means "now" in the data model, however adding a behaviour that listens for the addition of the aspect (or creation of your type) and then sets the date property value accordingly is one way to achieve this.

Sorry to resurrect this, but is this not a really frequently requested feature?

Even just supporting "Today" for d:date, and "Now" for d:datetime would probably hit 80% of anyone's requirements.

(Of course, I'm not just bringing it up to pester anyone unnecessarily – I also need the feature. )
