Hello everyone,

We are using 4.2.d on Centos 6.4.

I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I know that the Welcome Site Dashboard (the one that has the 4 columns and links)is one that would be shared across all sites that are created. I'm wanting to modify it to change some links so it would go to our helpdesk instead.

I've been playing around with a test install and have been able to change the pictures associated with each column, but I'm having trouble finding the the source file where I can modify the verbage and links.

Has anyone ever been able to change this?

The JS, FTL, and properties files for the dynamic-welcome dashlet can be found here:  share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/dashlets.  The verbiage for the messages can be found in the localized dynamic-welcome.get.properties files.

Hello guys,

I'm using 4.2.c and I'm wondering if this dashlet can be disabled for good?
If so, what are the steps to do that? Smiley Happy

Thanks,
Boris
