custom XML file

Hi to all

Got a question: how to create custom xml file(in menu->create file->…) with my own fields? I have already done this:

I understand that you are trying to create a custom model?

If so, this wiki page is very useful for everything about models:

Also, you could start with these file samples from the source code:

Just rename them in ".xml" and copy them in this Alfresco server folder (if they don't exist already!): tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension

Once you have a model, you need to remember that you need to configure either Alfresco Explorer or Alfresco Share to show your new types, properties or aspects.
