Custom workflow tasks in Mobile App

I'm trying to check all the functionality of the new app and I found an issue showing the workflow tasks. In my Alfresco instance (CE 4.0) I have some custom workflows created with JBPM engine. Starting this workflows I can see the tasks in "My Task to do" on web interface but I can't see them on mobile app. Mobile app only show tasks that belongs to Alfresco standard workflow. I took a look to the REST API

/alfresco/service/api/task-instances?authority=USER‍

and the JSON is well formed. Mobile app task panel works also with JBPM wf or only with Activity wf? And what about custom workflow?

Yes, as you have discovered Alfresco Mobile 1.4 only supports "Adhoc" and "Review and Approve" workflows. Further, a small oversight in 1.4 means JBPM workflows dont quite create or transition correctly; we'll be releasing 1.4.1 shortly to address that as well a a number of other bugs in 1.4.

We do want to improve workflow support on mobile devices, but are not sure the current application UI and underlying framework is the best place to address that. We are currently discussing how best to move forward with workflow support, so will likely have news to share in the New Year.

Work is currently ongoing to formalise a Workflow API as part of our Public API efforts. Unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll be releasing anything this year that will support custom workflows.

(Would be great if the forum post subjects would start with [iOS] or [Android], so it's easier to distinguish between the mobile apps, because as I see, they differ in functionality quite a bit.)

My main question though, related to this thread: above said, I was wondering whether there's a plan to support tasks in the Android version. I found that the version numbers between iOS app and Android app differ - do the version numbers follow the same road map in a way?

Yes, we are on a steady track to support all current iOS client features. We hope to start work on this specific part this summer.
