Custom properties for mobile application

Hello community,

I have been using a lot lately the apple mobile application for my alfresco community edition 5.0 and its a very beautifull made

I have 2 questions

1) Is there any update on when we ll be able to see custom aspects and custom properties of the items in the properties tab?
2) advanced search form?

Hi there

Thanks for the kind words regarding the mobile app. We also really want to add support for custom aspects and properties (as well as workflows) but right now need to wait for the right APIs to become available on the platform. We could display a big list of all the properties available on a particular file, but they would have little context and we wouldn't know which ones to hide, etc. as often all this extra metadata is held within an extension to the config file in Share, which the mobile apps have no access to (they talk directly to the repository).

Once we have agreement from the other teams on a suitable way to move that information to a place that's available via REST API then we'll be sure to bring it to both mobile platforms as soon as possible.

Thank you for your reply.

I would like to add also that the sorting features would be interesting to exist in the application as well

I think by default everything is sorted by name. It would be nice to to be able to sort by other properties as well

Thanks for the suggestions.

We'll be looking to refresh the UI of both the iOS and Android apps sometime and sorting is something we do want to add.
