Creation of a node points file/space in windows file system

How can I upload/create a file or node in alfresco that points actual content in the windows or any other OS file system instead of Alfresco repository.

Suppose I installed alfresco in a machine has no sufficient space to store bulk amount of data, in such situation what should I do?
