Create Simple no-process task with REST - possible?

I was looking all over the place how to create a simple task (as in explorer) without process via REST API. Does someone have any idea? Is it possible at all?

POST on /runtime/tasks, with the same body as in http://activiti.org/userguide/index.html#N14388

It seems that method is not documented.
