CQL informations

Hi,

I can't found more informations about CQL (http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/CQL).

I have few questions :

- is CQL still planned ?
- is CQL supposed to support joins ?
- where can I find more documentations / specifications ?

CQL is still planned since having an SQL-like syntax will be much easier than XPath. The JCR QL is okay, but since it isn't enough like SQL, many don't use it regardless of what JSR-170 implemenation you using.

At the moment, we are tracking what is happening with iECM and JSR-283. We will be proposing some of the things that we have considered for CQL into those standards, but we don't want to create an entirely proprietary query language. Look for more developments in the Aug / 1.4 timelline.

I can't read anything about CQL or any other SQL-like query language in your roadmap .

Is something planned for 1.4 ?
