Hi! I added the Site Activities dashlet to a site I created and I get the message: Could not load activities list

This same message is displayed on my dashboard in the My Site Activities dashlet.

Any ideas why? I am using 3.2.

Thanks!

Vanessa

Our IT guy reinstalled Alfresco and this time he is not using LDAP - this seems to have fixed the problem although it means that the users are not automatically populated like they were before (they all have to manually log in at least once before they show up in Share). This is a shame but it is worth it if this dashlet works now.

Is there any solution for Alfresco 3.2r CE with ldap-ad active (for synchronizing)?

BTW i got this error on a test installation without ldap+passthru too.  :?:

Edit: the error does not appear to "admin"m its feed ist ok, he is a local user. None of the AD-Users have any own feeds, log throws errors for everyone:

Nov 16 14:22:38 DETVTVMUCAPP04 jsvc.exec[14872]: 14:22:38,940 User:DEFischM WARN  [activities.feed.UserFeedRetrieverWebScript] Unable to get user feed entries for 'DEFischM' - currently logged in as 'DEFischM'

Is there anything what we can do, "admin" is the only local user, all others come from AD.  :?:

The feed seems to be created, but Alfresco seems to can't find the right user assigned single feed:
Nov 16 16:04:40 DETVTVMUCAPP04 jsvc.exec[14872]: 16:04:40,122  INFO  [post.lookup.PostLookup] Update: 1 activity posts
Nov 16 16:04:55 DETVTVMUCAPP04 jsvc.exec[14872]: 16:04:55,238  INFO  [activities.feed.FeedTaskProcessor] >>> Generated 18 activity feed entries for 1 activity posts (in 110 msecs)

A few days ago I saw Alfresco is saving the feed data with lowercased usernames, but seems to look for it with mixed case - maybe this is the cause of this error?

Ok, restested it successfully by renaming my own AD account to lowercase, deleting the exesting user from alfresco and waited for the resync - now my dashboard contains a fully working activities feed.

Will raise this to JIRA again, it shold be solved in the past but in 3.2r the error definitely exist.

I have logged https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ETHREEOH-3390

You might be able to work around this with

user.name.caseSensitive=true

This will stop the post service from lower-casing the names.

Uhm, yesterday i created my own report: https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALFCOM-3659

Didn't see yours, but today, sry. Will try your workaround and report about succuess.

Mario
