Content search in paste as link??

Hi,
When I link a document using "Paste as link" in another space, does it make a content search also for the original document in that space??
For eg. I have a doc "abc" in folder A
I have another folder B
If I paste "abc" as link in folder B and perform content search in folder B.
Would it show me the doc "abc" in result??

I tried but dont seem to get the content.

Hi,
I have the same problem in alfresco 2.9 and 3.2 community. I think the search does not work for linked documents.
