Configure repository at Network Shared Drive

I want to put my alfresco storage "alf+data" folder on the shared network drive. Is it possible ? How it can be done ?
Any help will be appreciated..

I want to store the whole alfresco content on a smb fileserver, too.
Is there a solution to solve this?
