CONFIGURATION FORUMS

Hello Everybody

I want someone help me with a specific configuration into Forum Spaces. I need to obtain a URL from specific topics or a link from it because I use it to  send via mail to our users that see it like guest. The forums have some url options but those can not be to use like a link to specific topics into forum.

I wish someone will help me.

Hi

Go into the details page, view the "Details Page URL" in a browser, then change the showSpaceDetails part of the URL into browse

Thanks for your answer. I tried to apply your suggestion but I found there´s 3 options links that it can not be to use into a mail because of it need to introduce a password when a guest try to open it. Then, I want to know if exist another way to get a specific link.

I had assumed you'd already invited the guest user to the forum space. If not, then please do so via the "Manage Space Users" option.

The guest users may still have to log in, but they can do so with the "guest" username and any password.

I´m here again

Well, We use the guest user defined by Alfresco. I have Guest user assigned like lector into Forums. We need to send mails with links to all our users and they can access to forum´s information, obviously, like guest. In the case of documentation, it present a link called content download, when we use it into mails everybody can see easyly its content.
