Hi all,

Today the Activiti 5.9 code freeze was scheduled.
I want to create a 5.9 release branch in half an hour or so.
Let me know if you there is still work that needs to be committed. I'll also sent an e-mail.

Best regards,

What new features can we expect to see in 5.9?

Hi croc,

I am sure there is going to be some noise around this.

For the moment, look at http://docs.codehaus.org/display/ACT/Roadmap

Other than that I am going to write a couple of blogposts on some of the new bpmn features.

If you Branch and
ACT-1046-"Allow engine to configure a delay between retries and the amount of retries."
is still open, will it become part of release 5.9 next week?

Hi keymaster,

unfortunately I did not manage to merge ACT-1046 until yesterday.
It will be merged for 5.10

http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/ACT-796 is not in that list though it seems to have been committed last time i checked SVN.

Well then the person who merged the patch did not set the fix version to 5.9

Hello Daniel,

I just noticed that there is a tag called activiti-5.9 in the svn repository. So 5.9 seems to have been released obviously. However checking out the trunk confronts me with POMs telling that they are version 5.9-SNAPSHOT. Shouldn't they be 5.10-SNAPSHOT or whatever higher SNAPSHOT-version now?

Cheers
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

5.9 has been released yet. Our release process consists of the step that we create a tag a week before the release date.
The version in the trunk is upgraded when we do the actual release.

Best regards,
