CIFS / WebDAV

Whenever attempting to access CIFS or WebDAV, I am prompted for a username and password.  I have tried my domain login and local logins but nothing works.  The domain is AD and I'm running on an WinXP machine.

Where is the user authentication for CIFS and WebDAV managed?

Can anyone recommend a good resource for either?

I have resolved this.  I was not aware that it was looking for the Alfresco login (although, I did try that at one point or another)

In case you are interested, I found the solution here:

Okay, after playing around with Alfresco on my local machine, I decided to install it on a server for production use.

After installing (v1.1.1) using unchanged config files (with the exception of enabling SSL), I cannot access the system using CIFS even from the server itself.  The message I get is:

\\Server_A\Alfresco is not accesible.
The network name cannot be found.

I have compared the network settings on the server to mine and I don't see any differences that would matter.  Both machines are on the same network and part of the same domain and NETBios is enabled on both machines.

I have run nbtstat -n and the name (Server_A) appears in the list.

I've run out of ideas.  Any help would be appreciated.
