We've configured an alfresco 2.0.1 Enterprise with LDAP Authentication & passthu authentication for CIFS (on an Active Directory 2003).
When we connect to the CIFS server from the internal network, everything works as expected. When we use our VPN client (Netscreen) however, we see a different behaviour:
- login window pops up
- after entering the credentials, we see the error: "the network path cannot be found".
The strange thing is that - using the same VPN - we can map to other samba servers on the same network, so it's not a firewall config error.
The cifs server name is in hosts and lmhosts. Logging is on full debug for SMB/CIFS, but nothing is logged when we try to connect.
Any ideas?
