BTWm you have to use the alfresco users & passwords, at least under Linux that is.

Hi there,
I dont know, what could be done after that, honestly.
Only to recheck, what "needs" to be done
1) name resolution in /etc/hosts with real IP added (not 127.0.0.1)
2) maybe, copy the CIFS section from file-server.xml into file-server-custom.xml (see Wiki "Server configuration" for that)
3) open firewall ports for remote tests
4) start alfresco
5) and oh - under windows, I ususally have to open a connection with the user / password combination, which has access to alfresco
With an alfresco user "tester / tester", that woul d be \\user@servername_A\Alfresco, otherwise, windows uses the windows username
Other than that, I have been using Alfresco for 2 weeks and am no linux expert, so I would be at a loss for more tipps
