CIFS config error

Hi,

I get an error that I didn't got yesterday :
CIFS server configuration error, NetBIOS SMB, TCP/IP SMB or Win32 NetBIOS must be enabled.
org.alfresco.error.AlfrescoRuntimeException : NetBIOS…

Can you help me please.

How does your files-servers.xml and files-servers-custom.xml looks like ?
Which version of Alfresco, which platform ?

I use alfresco-community-tomcat-2.1.0 with JEE5 SDK Update 4 (with JSE SDK 6 Update5).

Hi,
I have not checked the log files yet, but I have it every 2 - 3 days, that my Alfresco VM is not reachable via CIFS, stating "not reachable" or "no access rights". Staying pigheaded and retrying it or even deleting the mapped drive and readding it suddenly restores the connection after a time, without restarting alfresco or the VM (Linux).

I get the feeling, that caches in Windows might have something to do with that, since these VMs are for Developement only and on "Pause", whenever I do not need the VM. VM-local access works with that, by the way.

So try it more often or wait 5 Minutes is sometimes the solution
