I couldn't put my CIFS working yet, but I hope soon I can.

The question I want to raise here is about the library services when working with CIFS. How can one check out and lock a file when using CIFS? And also, how can one check in and unlock a file using CIFS?
Another question about library services… Does Alfresco provides means to check out unreserved an item, i.e., checking out a file without locking it, and let two users concurrently change it. This can leads to a file become inconsistent and a kind of diff and merge feature should be provided.
What the Alfresco answer to these questions?
