Changing Email Template

I'm trying to edit the template inviting users to a site. On the verbiage I just want to change a couple of words to personalize the email.

I've edited the files in Data Dictionary/Email Templates. I don't show any changes when sending an email.

Is there something that I'm doing wrong?

Exactly which  template you have modified.

site invite template is located at -  /Company Home/Data Dictionary/Email Templates/invite

You can modify this template as per your requirement , changes should get reflected.

Well now I feel dumb…..I edited the wrong file. I knew there were different language versions, but I didn't take notice to the one for english. Problem solved.

Yes I was trying to edit the template for Site Invite.

Well I have a new problem….I'm editing the wf-email.html.ftl file and I'm wondering how to "fix" the title when you receive the email.

I get the verbiage "You have been assigned the following task: activitiAdhoc.task.wf_adhocTask.title"

It would be nice to be able to change that so it doesn't look bad. Any ideas?
